  INSURANCE
12) MOM Coaches have their own Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance. However, it is the client’s own responsibility to make sure that they have appropriate insurance to cover for personal injury, accident, rescue from the slopes, losses, third party liability, lesson cancellation, and piste closure due to external factors such as adverse weather conditions etc. MOM strongly recommend that clients arrange a comprehensive winter sports insurance policy which extends cover to include off piste skiing.

  WEATHER & SNOW CONDITIONS
13) MOM cannot be held responsible for conditions outside of our control such as adverse weather conditions, and the closure of pistes or lifts due to lack of snow, avalanche danger, high winds and mechanical failure etc. No refund will be given for lessons which are cancelled because MOM is unable to provide tuition due to these external factors. However, we will be happy to provide a letter for your insurance company in these instances.

  SAFETY
14) For reasons of safety it is a condition of booking that clients respect the professional judgement of the coach at all times.
15) Clients should ensure that they are in a fit and safe condition to participate in physical activity in a mountain environment.
16) Helmets are compulsory for children up to the age of 16 years.
17) For dedicated off piste sessions avalanche safety equipment is compulsory.

MOM uses email as a means of correspondence and invoicing, as this helps us to be more efficient and saves problems with postage delays etc. We do recommend that you print out your MOM booking confirmation, invoice, and our terms and conditions for your information and records.
